German PPG Cup
The competition was held from 3rd to 6th June in Ballenstedt near Lipzig. Beside German contenders there were also Czechs, Austrians, Poles and one Swiss pilot - all in all 130 participants. Nine valid tasks were scored.
Polish pilots showed a good performance, with Piotr Trzyński's second place in PF1 (foot launch) category, Krzysztof Romicki's third place in PL1 (single-seat trikes) and Kamil Antkowiak's (with co-pilot Marcin Mianowski) second place in two-seat trikes. All these pilots have been flying Dudek wings.

Champions fly Dudek!
Four top places of UK PPG Championships 2008 have been taken by pilots flying Dudek wings.
The winner is Pascal Vallee (Plasma), followed by Michel Carnet (Reaction), Mike Chilvers
(Plasma) and Neil Slinger (Reaction). To complete the picture, there was eight Dudeks in the first ten places! See results at www.flymicro.com

Two new records!
Two new world records were set on powered Orca flown by Michel Carnet, with David Smith as a passenger. First of the records is 37,4 km/h speed over a straight 15/25 km course, another one is 32,82 km/h speed over a closed circuit 50 km. Both records after normal procedures were recently recognized by the FAI.

DMSV certificate for Synthesis!
It was granted for Synthesis 29 flown with Raptor R 120 paramotor. Certificate was issued by DMSV, a German organisation testing PPG equipment. This is the first ever German certificate obtained by a reflex wing!

Parafair 2008
Our biggest domestic paragliding fair is over. Big thank you to all pilots incessantly visiting our stand and to GGC for outstanding management of the event.

EN C for Synthesis Cabrio!
Both sizes of Synthesis Cabrio (42 and 46) passed the EN norm flight tests and got classified as C category. Paragliders were flown at their minimum take-off weight. Load tests (separate for each size) will follow soon.

Globe 120 already past the tests!
Our new reserve chute has just passed certification trials at Air Turquoise center (along EN norm), so we are activating production lines. There is still another couple of weeks before all paperwork will be completed, but we do hope that Globe 120 will be available from the end of February.

Scoot-Air and Dudek Paragliders!
In joyous mood we want to announce that as of new year Scoot-Air harness manufacturer has been merged with Dudek Paragliders. Sławek Kubiak - designer of well appreciated brand - will continue to work in his speciality area. Adding to his skill the enhanced technical capabilities of our production plant, he will be able to create even better harnesses in ever increasing quantities
We will also utilise Sławek skills in design and manufacture of backpacks and other similar accesories.
We are sure that it is the paragliding community that will benefit most of this merger.

Plasma 30 - new size!
The biggest Plasma, of 30 qm surface is ready. Paraglider is dedicated for the heaviest PPG pilots with serious competition spirit, of 105-140 kg weight range.

2008 FAI European Paramotor Championships in Poland!
During its last meeting in Lausanne, FAI Microlight Commission (CIMA) officially decided that next year's European PPG and PPGG Championships will be hosted by Poland. The competition will be organized by Włodzimierz Tocki and 'Kontakty' weekly, with Leszek Mańkowski acting as a sporting director.
The championships are going to be held in August at Łomża airfield.

It's Ryoya again!
Ryoya Igarashi enriched his laurels collection with yet another title, having won Japanese Open Championships (6-7 Oct, Hokkaido Island). He was flying a 26,5 Plasma and a Miniplane power unit.

World record on Synthesis!
On 10th September a Mexican pilot Fernando Iriarte has beaten the PPG open
distance record, already set high by previous pilots. Flying almost 14 hours
he covered 1144 km. It is a nice and important news for us that he was using
a Synthesis 31. More details soon...

Success at World Championships in China!
One gold medal, two silver and two bronze at the World Championships in Beijing are really great results for pilots flying our wings. Similar achievement was reached by Polish national PPG team - they won highest marks in country's paragliding history so far.
Some 40% of all participants have been flying Dudek wings.

WPC 2007 in China
Polish national PPG team is on its way to Beijing. All pilots will be flying
